To get into the account management page, you should input:

1) Your registered email. (The email that you used for verifying your account.)
2) Password for the EST account. (not the password for the email )

Please let us know whether you have inputted the password correctly.

The reason why we have put another login procedure on the account management page is to provide extra protection against possible hacking.

The Sub-Password system enables you to increase your accounts protection by creating a four digit password for your character, equipment and storage. Enabling these passwords is optional, but will offer you increased peace of mind, because even if someone does gain access to your account they will be unable to access your precious equipment.
If a sub-password is incorrectly typed five times the account will be locked.

Unblocking an account that has been locked
1) Sign-In to the website
2) Go to "Account Management" section.
3) Click on OTP button to send the OTP to your registered email account.
4) Type in your OTP sent to your email on the blank space provided.
5) Your account is now unblocked from Sub-Password block and Sub-Password is reset

STEP 1:
SIGN UP at www.cabal.com
To transfer, fill in your OGP ID and password to verify.
(DON'T PRESS 'GIVE UP' button this time.
Put your OGP account and its password in the blank, and hit the 'Transfer' button.)

STEP 2:
Once you sign up, the verification email will be sent to your email address.

STEP 3:
Check your email and click the link in it to activate your account.

STEP 4:
Click "OGP ACCOUNT TRANSFER" button on home page and go through OGP data transfer.
If you want to transfer, fill in your OGP ID and password to verify.

Anti-Virus softwares below may cause CABAL Client to malfunction.

- NOD 32
- McAfee
- DrWeb
- BitDefender
- Panda
- Norman

If one of these Anti-Virus program is running in your system, we recommend you to use other program or add the folder
(default path : C:\Program Files\Cabal Online (US)\) to your Anti-Virus exception list.

If nothing happens after clicking the Start button at launcher try the following steps :

1) Click the "Check Files" button on the launcher. It will take some time to check all CABAL client files.

2) Turn off your Anti-Virus software and add CABAL to your Anti-Virus Exception list.

3) Add CABAL, GameGuard to your Firewall Exception list.
*If you suddenly cannot enter after an update it could be the recent update that changed some Cabal exe's, delete the old exe from the exception list and then re-add the new one. Firewalls and Anti-Viruses know when an exe has been changed and will always attempt to block the new version.

4) Turn off any program that could crash with nProtect GameGuard

5) Adjust your graphics settings (e.g. anti-sampling on/off; full screen on/off)

6) Please up-to-date all your drivers to the latest version.

7) Reinstall the client after a proper uninstall and delete manually the remaining folder of CABAL Online.
(default path : C:\Program Files\Cabal Online (US)

The hacking detect messages will be shown when nProtect GameGuard has found a Virus, Adware, 3rd Party software or nProtect hasn’t been updated properly.
Error Code: 6 Type: 421 occur when GameGuard’s system for authentication has failed. If this error occurs, try the following steps.

1) Running Anti-Virus, Anti-Adware programs
- Run Full System Scan at your Anti-Virus software

2) Close other programs that runs with CABAL Online
- Prevent program crash by closing other programs
- If you have programs that is not in use, we recommend you to remove it by
"Add or Remove Programs" at Windows – Control panel

3) Update your Windows to the latest version
Various Viruses invades your computer by security leaks. We recommend you to up to date your Windows security to prevent it.

4) Re-Install GameGuard
(1) Download at Cabal.com - Download - Game Download
(2) Click the [Game Guard Install] link at the lower section

5) Remove Third party tools
(1) If illegal Third party tools(autobot), or hacking programs are installed on your system, remove it to play CABAL Online.

ESTsoft take a tough stance on all users who play the game illegally and gain an unfair advantage by using third party software. "Botting" is one of the most common ways of cheating on CABAL Online and results in a permanent ban. While we are active in developing ways to stop these bots from working, we rely heavily on our in-game users to inform us of suspected "bots". A suspected "bot" can be identified in several ways:
Often they disconnect when you get near them
* They are unresponsive (though a person who does not reply to you is not necessarily a bot)
* They rarely pick up gold or other drops OR they pick up drops from a distance
* They act in a pre-defined way
These are just some of the main characteristics to look out for in your fellow players.

If you believe you have spotted a user who matches these criteria, please contact us directly by creating a support ticket. We require the name, server and if possible a screenshot or movie of the botter in action. While the screenshot and movie is not required, it can help us in our investigations.

Where to report a suspected bot
Go to www.cabal.com/support/helpdesk. Press Submit Ticket. Choose Bot Reports/Detectives department. In the opened form fill in the name of the cheater, the server he was on and the evidence of him that you have.

NOTE: Please DO NOT report cheaters or post their names as a comment to this article or on the forum. Use a Support Ticket for that only.

Under no circumstances will the CABAL support team change your character's name. Instead it can be done manually by purchasing a 'Rename Card' from the CABAL Online item shop. Please note that if you choose to rename your character, we cannot rename the character back to its original name.

CABAL Online supports both Window and Full Mode.
The switch modes: Click and check 'Window Mode' box located at the lower section of Cabal Online Startup Window. (If you want to play with Full Mode, cancel the check box.) If you want to change the mode during the play, click and check box 'Window Mode' in the Options > Graphics menu by using Option (Shortcut Key O). (If you want to play with Full Mode, then, cancel the check box.)
You can also press Alt +Enter while in game to switch from Full and Window Mode.
